Nick Allder

Nick Allder is a American film special effects supervisor and coordinator. Allder has won multiple awards including an Academy Award in 1980 for the film Alien, as well as a BAFTA film in 1998 for his work on the film The Fifth Element. Allder worked on the set of high grossing box office films such as Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Braveheart.

Career

Allder began his professional career as an assistant camera man making commercials. After eight years he transitioned to camera special effects, working on motion pictures and films.[1]

Recognition

Allder has been nominated for two BAFTA Awards, an Academy Award, and a Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, & Horror Films.[2]
